Thinking about starting a Battlebots forum

As a tradition, my MIL and I typically watch the newest episode of Battle Bots on Fridays since they air on Thursday nights. I've been thinking about starting a community based around discussions of Battlebots, but I'm not 100% sure if there's a niche for it. The crowd usually seems pretty large, so it seems pretty popular. I've never seen a Battlebots community pop up in any promotional forums as of late. If you're a fan of the series, would you like to see a new community? I'd like to get some feedback before I dive into this new project. I already have a name picked out.

I was a huge fan of Robot Wars in the UK, and then I just sort of fell away from it, didn't realize there was a US version, so I never really followed it, but I definitely get the appeal. It's a great concept with a lot of great designs and ideas that come through, so I'm sure you could generate a decent level of traffic from fans of the show, robots, and so on. You should give it a try!

Worth a shot. You might not reach much of your fanbase in the usual forum promotion places. Might need to turn to facebook / instagram targeted ads, google adsense or something like that.

Yes, not for everyone. I personally enjoy it myself but Mechwarrior is ok too.

Welp I did it. xD I just opened the forum up yesterday. I did have some kinks I had to fix, but we're good now. I'm going to promote it in the proper section.
