As the titlesubtitle says: what helps you think?

Any specific methods for receiving that spark of inspiration? (Or get hit by extra inspirations? $5WBR for the first person to get the reference!)

If I'm having trouble writing something, generally I'll find something of that particular genre to view. For example, if by some chance I was writing a horror story, I might watch the Alphabet Killer to get into a darkened perspective. But generally, I have the ability to sit around and think for hours and hours without doing much of anything else yet I don't really get bored with it.

You mean like being struck by lightning?

I often find that when I try to go to sleep at night,

my mind wakes up and all sorts of things go

through - bit like a conveyer belt

Yeah... happens to me too. Really annoying, I usually can't remember everything the next morning

Same here and I have really good ideas too! Only problem is like EE said, I can't remember them in the morning!

Usually when it's quiet and peaceful. And I think wonderfully at night (:

Nightime thinking seems to be popular

I decided one time to keep a note book by my bed, so that when I started

'thinking' I could quickly jot down my thoughts so I'd remember them the

next day. When I sat up in bed though to write them down - my mind went blank !

I just do it tbh... It's not thinking I have problems with, it's stopping the train of thoughts.

I still have to sit up to switch on the lamp and get my notebook

and that takes my mind off what I was thinking

Just go to bed with a notebook under your pillow and write without turning on the light!

Kittens. All they know is love and play and food and fun. What a beautiful creation in our busy world.
