A note saying, ‘This area is black so f*** off’ was stuck through a young mother’s door by racists who also smeared the entrance with paint and feces.

Sammie Sunter, 24, said that the attackers posted a note saying that her new flat in Willenhall in Coventry – which she had just moved into – was ‘for black sisters and brothers’.

Sammie, 24, who lives with her two young sons, Harvey Anderson, two, and Oscar Rock, five, said: ‘These people make Willenhall out to be some sort of ghetto.

‘They say it’s their area but it’s really not – there’s a little old white man living in the flat below.

West Midlands Police is treating the attack as racially aggravated criminal damage.

Sammie was targeted just five days after she moved in.

‘I had to explain racism to my five-year-old. It’s just not acceptable. He wanted to know why they hated us.

‘I told him that whoever was responsible was going to get punished, but who knows if that will happen.’

I've lived in the most multi-ethnic area of Melbourne and had 0 issues. Now I've moved to a neighbourhood of mostly white people and I can feel the unfriendliness.
Though, not the same extent as the woman in the article.
I'd try and break the lease and leave. There's clearly an unpredictable idiot on the loose (could be any colour, I don't care what the note said) and they for whatever reason have you on their radar.

(My wife and I, and the kids, will be moving back to our old area.)

Would you stay there or leave?

Since they used the words flat I am guessing this is not in America. That means thanks to government you are a helpless pig ready for the slaughter to not be able to defend yourself. So I would move not wanting to take the chance that my wife would get hurt.

If it happened here I would double my time with the wife at the gun range for practice. Make changes on how we travel seperately and other such things and no way would I move.
