A lot of people these days hate thought crimes. They see as some oppressive political correctness.

However, though, thought crimes can be seen even discussed in the Bible. For instance, Jesus spoke of adultery and murder in the heart and how unchecked patterns of lust and hate would lead to adultery and murder.
