This isn't something that I believe is in the works but at the moment, we do see some technology that is wireless and that can be kept running by either charging it or having a way that we can charge it without needing wires.

It got me thinking, what if all devices ended up going wireless, could this be something that may be possible in years to come with the way technology is evolving? Would it be practical?

What are your thoughts? Do you see all wireless devices in the future?

I don't understand all of the technicalities that would be involved; but as fast as things have and are developing in that area, I'm not really seeing any signals of the industry plateauing.

So, Yes! :D

Wireless devices, I'm sure that's going to be a thing eventually, so long as they're not 'smart' devices that ping outside services. That's my one instant no-go, lol. Won't have a ring doorbell, won't have google home, no Alexa, no Cortana, no Siri, none of it. I don't want it around because anything that listens and pings a third party is instant 1984 territory for me. I have some smart tech, but it's all networked internally, so my footage or my data usage doesn't leave my NAS device. People willingly offer up their privacy for no good reason these days, it's scary!

It would be cool if tv's and video game consoles advanced enough to the point where they were no longer dependent on electricity.
