3 feet tall, I could be lifted more easily.
I'll go 3ft. It'd be annoying, but I could adapt - and it'd be less annoying than 10ft, which would mean ducking constantly!
10 feet. I'm small enough as it is and I hate it!

It is a lot cheaper and easier to convert an existing house to be accessible and usable by somebody one meter tall than somebody who is over three meters tall.
Also, existing automobiles can be adapted to somebody smaller much more easily than somebody that large.
