What are your thoughts on thunderstorms?

There was one that rolled through my area this morning between 3:30 and 4 (or that's when it started). I don't remember what time it was over. I just know it woke me up but I fell back asleep, I think, before it was completely over.

We had some thunderstorms last night here, I don't know what time they rolled in though. They woke me up, I usually don't mind them but lightning kept striking too close to my house so the thunder was loud.

I like the sound of them, but I'm not a fan of being outside in one. Just this morning I got caught in a storm that was more windy than rainy and it was not pleasant to have my umbrella flapping all about.

Yup same as @Kylie, dont enjoy being caught out in one but I like the atmosphere / sounds of them when Im all cozy inside :p

We don't get many in the UK but I do love them, as long as I am at home or driving. It's quite nice to see a lot of rainfall especially if there is thunder and lightning too.

The thunder last night was so loud it woke me up. It at first sounded like something exploded. The lightning over the lake was beautiful to watch.

What are your thoughts on thunderstorms?

Well, the good thing is this: It's not a category 5 hurricane. I survived through one of those in Florida. Never again. So thunderstorms are nice to sleep through for me. I sleep through them like a baby.

See.......I like them as well as long as I am at home. If I am at home, I like hearing it outside while I'm reading. Plus, I don't like getting out in it because there are some people that tend to forget how to drive when it rains here.

We had severe thunderstorms last night with 60 MPH winds. It was wicked loud and there are trees down all over the place.

I know they are needed but the loud ones with a bunch of lightning can be quite deafening & scary. Especially when it shakes the house. Not to mention furbabies get scared. I don’t mind them, as I said they are needed, I just try to focus on other things to get me & the furbabies through it.
