I just sort of noticed something. Almost every time I post a time here it tends to be digital as in, I'd say it's 22:25 right now. Now, I know I've done this at least once because I didn't want to bother with am/pm, but mostly it seems to be because the clock in the corner of my screen displays it as such.

In real life, however, I'd sooner say it's 25 past 10 or 5 to half if someone asked me what time it was. Probably helped by the fact that my watch isn't digital.

So I was wondering, do any of you do this?

i usually give the time as a number, but sometimes i will say a quarter after or a quarter to.
