The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal accident and double shooting in the on North 48th Street near Glendale Avenue.

Emergency responders were called to the scene around 5:10 p.m. after a 2-year-old ran into the street and was struck. The 2-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, a 41-year-old man, remained at the scene. Police believe another person then shot the driver as well as a 15-year-old male who was at the scene.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Relatives identified him as Archie Brown Jr. of Milwaukee.

A 15-year-old boy died later at a hospital. It's not clear why the teen was shot.

Police have not identified the shooter at this time.
