Have you ever made a total diet change...whether it's reducing calories, or eliminating certain foods, or strictly following a specific type of eating (vegan, keto)?

How did it work out and do you still do it?

I never did the TOTAL elimination of a certain type of food.. just your average Calories shortage diet.

I wanna try the vegan diet for 15 days to keep myself from eating red meat every single day X_X

We try to eat beef once a week and mostly eat chicken and pork now. When the price of beef went up, that made it an easy decision! I have switched a lot of recipes to make them work with the other types of meats. I was amazed at how pork tastes in a stuffed pepper! Use pizza seasoning and wow.

I don't like pork or chicken.. i'd rather just not eat if that's the only option. Maybe some fish would be fine too.. but as you said, it's really expensive.

Oh no!! I used to hate meat and it took years before I could really enjoy it. Having it cooked a certain way makes a difference. My mom wasn't a very good cook but my in-laws were, so I had to learn from them in order to really like meat dishes.

I was almost ridiculous at calorie counting at one point; but, ironically, it seemed to help me lose weight the most. I went from being around 270 to 230 or so. I was partnering that with push ups and crunches.

When I was a teenager, I lost 30 pounds over summer break because I had an eating disorder and was obsessed with trying to be thin. I starved myself and wrecked my metabolism by doing so. I stayed away from the house as much as I could, and spent time with my best friend who had not only anorexia, but bulimia. She was a bad influence in that matter, but is still a best friend today.

As part of my New Year's resolution, I need to change my diet. It is not a strict diet, if I may say so. I just need to have a well-balanced diet and do some cardio exercises to keep fit as a fiddle.
