Tough Day

Today has been a long day. To begin with, I stayed up late the night before in hopes of my sister falling asleep soon enough so I could decorate for her b-day during the night so in the morning when she woke up she would of seen the decorations. Unfortunately, after hours of waiting, I gave up and decided we'd do it in the afternoon. So, wake up early and exhausted, well, come to find out, my sister didn't even feel good on the morning of her b-day, so she thought she may stay home after she dropped me off at school. However, she stayed in there and went to school. So we go to school, and coming first class, my teacher has a sub so we had to do a lot of book work, then, my second class was good until the end, because he assigned us this one page essay to write for homework (Few people were talking). After that, we go into third class, and it's math, so our lesson was easy, but it was just a lot of written, monotonous work. I also had homework in that class. So, coming fourth class of the day, theater, we have to memorize word for word this monologue and know it for a test grade tomorrow. Really tiring. Okay, so the day's over and I go out to my sister's car, and wait and wait, but then I forgot she had singing rehearsal after school and my mom was picking me up. Long and behold, she tried calling me for over 20 minutes and leaving me voice mails, and she told me that I need to turn my phone on, well, I had my phone on, but it was on alarm only.

Then, we had to rush home because we still had to decorate before she got home. Took me 20 minutes to do at least an hour job, because I rushed really fast. Eventually, she arrived home and she was excited that we decorated and stuff, and then while the family was coming over, I stayed in my brother's room, which is sort of by itself, to do my math homework. Took at least an hour or more to finish it, because we had a lot to do because tomorrow is test day, and we always have much more to do the night before the test as a review for the next day. Math's done. Then, I go and hangout with the family and we celebrate my sister's b-day, but then after the last person left, I immediately had to jump into the shower and then get out and write my report. I finished it after about 45 minutes to an hour, and now that's out of the way. Now, I've spent the last few just memorizing my monologue. Really tough day today, but I made it through and tomorrow will be better, because it's Friday. Have a couple test though. Will have to refresh my memory in the morning. Regardless, today was rough tough stuff, but I made it through and accomplished what I needed to accomplish. Sure, only been able to make a single post today on Off Topix, but it's 11 PM and I'm extremely tired.

Hang in there. School can go pretty up and down - some days will be easy and seem short, while others will be long, boring and give you lots of homework. Well done for finishing it all though. It's much easier to procrastinate.
