Do you use Trillian? I do, and I love it.



I do have a question however. I know you can change the skins, but does anyone know of where I can find a skin that looks just the original, except in different colors? I'm using version 3, by the way. I hate Astra.

A chat program. You can be on MSN, AIM, Yahoo, and IQC (or ICQ, whatever it is) at the same time. The newer version, Astra, comes with Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail and I think others as well.

I don't use any other instant messaging programs and I hate social networking now with the fire of a thousand burning children, otherwise Trillian would be pretty handy for me.

Does it have Skype though?

I just downloaded it when you mentioned it earlier, but forgot to say how cool it is. It's really nice because I have lots of contacts on MSN, and then lots on AIM too.

I believe that the Astra version does.

Yeah.

It's pretty awesome. I prefer version 3 over Astra, it has that classic look. And Astra has so many features, it's easy to get lost, version 3 has what you need.

We use it at school. I am trying to register on it from home, because we cant register at school. I am on a Mac, so through the client is not possible. At school we use Astra.

I download the real IM programs and use them.

What makes Trillian less real? Would you care to elaborate?

It gives you the ability to hold multiple discussions that can be switched to be made viewable via tabs. It beats the hell out of having multiple windows open for all of your conversations when Trillian lets you have them all in one window much like how today's web browsers do that for web surfing.



I used to use it but stopped for some reason. I don't really use IM much anyways so it doesn't matter.

I haven't ever used it though I have heard mainly good things about it... though when Windows Live works on my computer, I'll stick to that.
