You can select one person from history and ask them a question to which they must give a truthful reply. Who would you select, and what question would you ask?

That has a simple answer. Black people aren't men is the answer he would give and he would believe it to be true as he conditioned himself into believing it to be so.. In order to say that all men are equal and own slaves meant he dehumanized the slaves in his mind into something that wasn't human. He then used that mindset to justify owning slaves.

I don't have a question of my own just thought I give you a likely answer to your question seeing as no one is going to dig up Thomas Jefferson and make him talk so I give you the next best thing.
