Which do you prefer on Thanksgiving? Turkey or Ham. Or do you prefer something else?

I prefer turkey on Thanksgiving. It kind of defeats the purpose to have anything else...but I do have ham, too.

I know a family that usually does something exotic for Thanksgiving (since it's just the 2 of them) Sometimes lobster, sometimes cornish game hens.....I think that would be sort of cool--but not very traditional.

I hate the taste of ham. I mean, I'd eat it if there was nothing else, but I just love turkey, so this was an easy choice for me.

  Yes!

Turkey

We don't do Thanksgiving here, but if we did, I'd go for other, namely vegan alternative.

Im a ham guy myself.

I love both, but turkey 100%

I like roast beef. :)

I don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, but duck tastes better when cooked whole in the oven.

It becomes tender and more flavourful.

That sounds really good. hehe

Duck has a stronger, more gamey flavour than turkey due to its higher fat content. The fat not only gives duck its unique taste but also helps keep the meat moist when cooking.
Both can be delicious :p I use turkey often, though typically not whole, and I've cooked duck a few times only.

Ham 100%. I am not a huge meat eater to begin with and I find I'm just not big on the taste of turkey. So as for your question, I will always pick ham before turkey.
