Two teens suspended for 'bullying' 15-year-old who jumped to her death in front of train after 'vid

Two students have been temporarily removed from a high school in Staten Island, New York, for tormenting a 15-year-old girl before she committed suicide by jumping in front a train.



A source with knowledge of the matter said that the pair 'abused and made fun of' Felecia Garcia after rumors started spreading around Tottenville High School that the sophomore had sex with four members of the football team.



‘The dismissed students were not on the school's team. These kids used poor judgment, and they did something they're going to have to live with for the rest of their lives,’ the source told The Advance.



As of Friday, no members of the football team were found to have played a role in taunting the 15-year-old girl, said the source.



‘If it comes out these [players] were bullying this girl and there's presented proof, they'll be removed from the school,’ the source said.



The Staten Island had been branded a 'slut' and humiliated by classmates after a video of her having sex with four football players was posted online for everyone to see.



According to sources at Tottenville High, entered into group sex with the four players last Friday after attending a wild party following her school's win over a local rival.



The tragic freshman ended her life on Wednesday after the video was shared among classmates and the NYPD has now interviewed the four players who have insisted to police that the sex was consensual.



'Kids are saying she had sex with some guys from the football team at a party after the game.' said a friend of Garcia's to the New York Daily News.



'Later on they wouldn't leave her alone about it. They just kept bullying her and bullying her.

'

'This poor girl was called a slut. She was teased on Facebook,” a classmate, Victoria, said yesterday to the New York Post.



The four football players are believed to be aged between 15 and 16 years old.

The teen, who friends claimed had long been tormented by school bullies, in particular football players, tweeted on Monday: 'I cant. i'm done. I give up.'



The same day she posted photographs of herself on Instagram where she appears beaten and bruised, with her lips seemingly cut or sewn together. She added the hashtag 'beatup.'



A friend, Alissa Compitello, tweeted yesterday that the relentless bullying Felicia was dealt at school had driven the student to take her own life.



'SHE WAS BULLIED... SHE WOULDN'T HAVE DONE IT IF SHE WASN'T BULLIED,' the teen wrote.

Sad story and she was a beautiful young lady. People should think before they do something that can be posted for the world to see.



I personally don't think this incident can be blamed totally on bullying. Do you?

She was indeed a beautiful young lady. She was probably exploited for her looks by jealous classmates and the eager jocks who took advantage of her.



I would personally charge the person(s) who filmed her and posted the videos with manslaughter. They pretty much ruined her. There's no way whoever did that thought they wouldn't cause irreparable harm to her social life.
