A BBC graphics glitch left UKIP leader Nigel Farage sporting an unfortunate Hitler-like mustache.
The picture, shared by BBC sports journalist Olly Foster on Twitter, was of the huge digital screen at the BBC's Media City headquarters in Salford, Manchester.
Mr Farage was being interviewed on BBC Breakfast when one of the large pixels blacked out - making it look as if he was sporting a toothbrush mustache.
The image of Mr Farage on the big screen was deleted soon afterwards by Mr Foster, who apologized for his "error of judgement".
But, by then it had started doing the rounds and been shared thousands of times.
It came only a day after a letter emerged from Mr Farage's former school, Dulwich College in London, claiming he had "publicly professed racist and neo-fascist views".
The letter, written by one of the UKIP politician's former tutors, claimed Mr Farage "had marched through a quiet Sussex village very late at night shouting Hitler Youth songs" while on a cadets camp.
