Ultraviolet light bulb

Would an ultraviolet light bulb affect me if I had one in my room in place of a normal light bulb? Could it harm my skin or eyes in anyway? If not, does anybody know where I can get a cheap one?

Thanks for the link, Jazzy. From what I read, I'm guessing it can be harmful. I'm just wondering if I had a UV lightbulb in my room, as my main light source, whether it would affect me greatly.
