A London university has spent £20,000 building a fake pub to test the effects of alcohol on students.
London South Bank University psychology department engineered the replica boozer, reports the Daily Mirror.
Room J-407 will be staffed by psychology students and will see customers being used as guinea pigs.
It has been designed to seem authentic as possible and features authentic lighting, music, and even pre-recorded bar chatter.
But not everybody who orders a drink will get alcohol - some will unknowingly be served placebos as part of the experiment.
A fruit machine is included to test risk-taking behaviour, with the whole thing captured on camera and fed into nearby rooms for other students to assess.
Bar labs have been used before in the US, but this example is thought to be the first of its kind in Britain.

Bet there will be no shortage of 'customers' willing to participate.
