Today, I have just upgraded my rig to be able to crush any game or resources-demanding application at ease. Here is my rig:

Processor: Intel i7 4770k ~ 3.90 GHZ

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H

RAM: Kingston HyperX 16GB (2 x 8GB) 1600MHz DDR3

VGA: EVGA NVIDIA GTX 780TI 3GB Vram /w ACX Cooler - Superclocked

HDD: 2 TB WD

Mouse: Crosair M65 FPS Gaming Mouse

Keyboard: Logitech G510 Gaming Keyboard

Headset: Plantronics GameCom 780 Gaming Headset

How much you give my rig out of 10? And what is your rig? I am excited to know.

Verdict: 9.5/10
And btw, I don't have a gaming rig, just my all-in-one desktop (aside from my Asus laptop):
CPU: Intel Pentium G870 @ 2x 3.10 Ghz
GPU: Intel HD Graphics - Sandy Bridge
RAM: 4GB DDR3, HDD: 1TB = 1024 GB

Mouse out of the box, running Windows 8.1 Pro as of June 2014.

Just a rig for everyday usage. Guess you are not much into gaming, are you?

It's way better than mine, so I'll give it a 10 :highfive:

Well thank you, but I still want to know your specs :ninja: :glare:

Dude... I am jealous of that CPU haha. I have a little dual core 3.1 GHZ mobile i5. It's a haswell, so that's a plus. It works very well for two cores, but sometimes I need more juice. :P

Everything you said in your OP, Madi, it's all Greek to me. I am, without a doubt, the most uninformed, uneducated person when it comes to computer stuff.

But it sounded impressive, so I'll give it a 10!

Haha thank you Smooth :D

You are jealous of the CPU but not jealous of the GFX card? :P

What I do on both my computers is retro emulation. This means I most likely run emulators on them and play some classics. :P

Let's face it laptops just not ment for gaming
My old specs:
Gateway FX P-7815u
17" screen

Here's mine:

AMD Dual-Core Processor E1-1200 (1.40GHz)
6GB ram
500GB Hard drive + 1tb external
Windows 8 64-Bit

....its basically just a web browsing machine, I don't do any gaming on my computer.

Oh man...you just made me jealous...I can't afford a new rig at the moment not with my current pay :-( My comp is ancient...I think it should be displayed in a museum right about now.
