Username Changes

What are your thoughts on changing your username (once you have established yourself and that username goes hand in hand with your "identity"?
Have you ever changed your username? If so, why?

If you do not change your username, then does it bother you when others do?

I am Nebulous everywhere I go in the forum world and I have been Nebulous for quite a number of years now.

Sometimes it can get confusing when other people change their name on a regular basis. Your username is what people remember you by. But, it doesn't really bother me. If it's someone I know real well, I'll know who they are no matter what name they go by.

I've been KAGE-008 since 2011. Before that I had other usernames, but those are outdated now.

I am Jazzy everywhere I go in the forum world and I have been Jazzy for quite a number of years now.

It can get very confusing when members constantly change their usernames. It doesn't bother me, however, if I know the members well enough to realize it's them.

Adding more: people changing their usernames can be VERY confusing when you don't know them well. Especially if you just joined a forum as a newcomer. Sometimes it'll take time to understand it and vanish the confusion so you'll know who they are regardless of their new usernames.

I tend to stick to this username as much as I can. I'm fine with people changing their names, so long as they aren't surprised when I call them by their old one
