Has anyone used Vanilla?

It takes a slightly different approach to how forums are displayed and such. I am not the biggest fan of it personally but I know a few people who love it.

What are your thoughts on Vanilla?

Open source vanilla is great, the more commercial side is nice, but if I'm going to shell out money for a forum software I'll go with one that more readily suits my needs like XF or Invision.

It is dead, some big company bought them. There is not much heard of open source version after that.
