Forza Horizon (Xbox 360)

An open-world, festival based reinvention of one of gaming's most austere driving sims, Forza Horizon perhaps shouldn't have worked. But with the beautiful Colorado setting as the perfect playground, everything else fell into place. Forza's precise handling model translates superbly to Horizon's more boisterous racing, while the festival atmosphere contributes to a fabulous, feel-good racer.

All in all, I was disappointed with The Walking Dead. It was hardly worth calling a game, with no true gameplay and no real replay value, despite being touted as heavily effected by player choices. Similarly, Dishonoured was a huge disappointment, and I went into it EXPECTING IT to be bad.



I Am Alive was great, and FTL was probably my best indie purchase.

Definitely. The game runs off random encounters, so you can do really well, or really badly. Depending on the way events play out you can go all the way to the end, or you can get destroyed completely by the second battle. lol
