This is both beautiful and terrifying to me. The sound would be horrific to me, but the view is lovely... albeit probably very dangerous.

Whenever I eat Mexican food I get a lot of gas buildup. At that point the volcanic lightning comes out of my pants, and you don't want to be in the same room as me.

There are volcanoes in some surprising locations.

Such as under Jackson, Mississippi.
Are there any close to the New Madrid Fault?

I live in Missouri and if that were to go off, it is said that it could destroy a lot of the state.

You mean other than the Crater of Diamonds in Arkansas?

I guess? I've never heard of that one.

Ah, I see. I went to a diamond mine outside of Hot Springs when I was in middle school 8th grade back in 2002. It was a field trip. That might have been the place, but I don't remember it that well.

There's a very good reason that the springs in Hot Springs have warm water coming out of them.

So you're saying there's an underground volcano?

That is very thought provoking and it does make a lot of sense now that you mention it.

Looks like they're sitting on a Jellystone down there.

10/10 in my book, just like thunder snow. Shit is wild, but fascinating.
