Every morning you wake up add $2.35 to a jar.

In a month you'll have approx.: $70.5

In a year you'll have approx.: $846

But at the end of the week add an extra 10 dollars.

Then you'll have after a year $1366 dollars to spend with.

Here's what I do:

All year long I throw my spare change into an empty popcorn tin. One that looks like this one

. I have been doing this for four years now and on New Year's Day, I count and roll the spare change. This is just spare change that I never missed by throwing it into the popcorn tin. Money results so far:

Year one: $602.57

Year two: $732.83

Year three: $686.21

Year four: $823.68

Does anyone else do this too?

I have a Christmas Savings account that I cannot touch until November. I tend to put $5 in every week, a bit more here and there.I know it won't be much at the end of the year but it's more than what I would have if I didn't save.

Plus if I get a full time job I will be better off with savings.

I have $40 so far in my savings account and my goal is to get 250 before november into it by doing odd jobs, work experience that kinda thing.

i have a tin for my change and i stays bills in there too...

sometimes i have envelopes, and every paycheck i stash bills in each one...

So then when J finally checks out for keeps his friends and family will go through his place like Tasmanian Devils looking for his stash.

The problem with stashing money all around is, if you forget. You're f*cked.
