I believe that war is a required for peace. No matter what people say it's unavoidable. Think if america would have never went to war against Hitler he might have very well taken over the world but we needed to to stop him and we did. So yes I think it is required.

Has there every really been any word wide peace? I think that there is always fighting somewhere going on.

Yes there will always be war because people will always have different ideas. Different ideas sometimes creates evil and that is when war creates stability with a kind of limited peace.
