HOUSTON — A warp drive to achieve faster-than-light travel — a concept popularized in television's Star Trek — may not be as unrealistic as once thought, scientists say.

...Now physicists say that adjustments can be made to the proposed warp drive that would enable it to run on significantly less energy, potentially bringing the idea back from the realm of science fiction into science.

Hey, I was just reading that article before I got on here.

everything that the public sees on tv and in the movies either is already possible

Look at teleportion for instance...
...go on...

Are you going to say that the magic stick is technology?
I guess. Although I'm trying to disprove your original point

Yet it needs brainpower to work, no?

It requires an active brain for input. Not quite the same thing. A computer needs a brain for input as well, wouldn't say mine runs on brainpower, though.

I defy you to explain the difference between mind power and technology.
Sure, mind power might be defined as technology, but not all tech is mind power.

Though yes, he was probably right.

Good luck...

Well, I think I did it already. I haven't seen anyone use a magic wand. Extrapolating from this I'll state there are no magic* wands. I will also state magic* does not exist, but I will accept a redefinition of the word as a part of quantum mechanics. I'll leave it to you to provide a counter that proves magic... would net you a million while you're at it

(* taking magic to mean something that cannot be explained by science AND, in case of the wand, functions like it does in the HP movies.)

Mind power and technology are one and the same yet are different, all things are energy and/or matter as well as possible...

This is also a very complex and extraordinary subject to try to explain at this planet's current stage as well as Humans frame of mind...

Also, you're trying to make me explain things that I cannot due to reasons I'm not allowed to discuss, hope you understand...

You've missed quite a few meetings and your membership in the Annunaki club has been suspended, I got volunteered to be the one to tell you when I went for a refill.

Sorry sir dude, but you missed that joke all together.

But to shine another light on the subject, I'm still waiting on somebody to explain the real difference between the Creation and its Creator. (note capital letter on both)

Which is yet another facet of what we are talking about.

All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree.

Any interesting meetings?

It should be sentience, but I wouldn't count on it.

Once you start thinking in 5+ dimensions it becomes easier to distinguish the two. Or rather, to make a distinction that actually involves two things.
