hours and hours upon a time in games, like spending hours each day on one game that you thin what the flip I'm doing 
or doing five hours flights in the sim while streaming and no one is watching you and your channel is not going anywhere and you think that you just ended up bad and wasted pointless amount of time for nothing.

Probably my website, Bizdustry. I spent countless hours working on my YouTube channel and my forum getting it so far to 250,000 posts with an active userbase. It wasn't easy.
Yet, the results are wonderful, It's not wasting time if you are achievements are going high
Awesome achievement and I wouldn't consider that a waste of time at all.
I think what Empire mentioned is spot on really. I wouldn't consider it as wasted time if you have ended up with a successful YT channel and a very active forum.
For me, it would have to be games, mainly FIFA. It's crazy how much time we spend on that game, just to then buy a new game every year and start all over again from the bottom up
And I agree, in-class learning nothing but saying HELP to the teacher as he or she is helping the smartest person in class
