Watching movies with headset?

When you're watching movies or TV shows on your laptop or smartphone for those who can watch using their phones, do you like watching with headphones or outloud? I love using headphones whenever I'm watching on my laptop, it helps me hear conversation well in the movie.

I think the only time I've worn headphones while watching something is if I am in a public place and don't want to bother anyone. Like an airplane, doctors office waiting room, etc.

I used to do that when I was having to travel with my parents or my grandparents. When dvd used to be relevant, I would bring a portable player and watch some shows while wearing a head set on the plane or in the car.

If I watch any movies or a TV show on my laptop or PC I tend to use earbuds or headphones unless someone else is also watching with me in which case, it would be better for it to be out loud.
