What's the weirdest looking food that you actually enjoyed?
For me it would be octopus or snails, they both don't look like nice food but they taste great!

Smash up bananas, add in gobs of mayonaise, mix to a paste and make a sandwich out of it.

I normally HATE mayo, but somehow I eat copious amounts of it in banana sandwiches.

Mix powdered jello into the cottage cheese and dress with fruit... nom!

That might be good actually! :|

If you're feeling super adventurous, add in a dollop of whipped cream.

I wasn't going to mention it because it's easy to go overboard on whipped cream because it's so freakin' delicious on its own, but too much whipped cream wrecks the flavor. A bit mixed in is great, though.

Peanut butter and pickle sandwiches.

Yupp, I adore those.

So this doesn't look gross so much as weird, it does seem like it should be gross though. Actually two things that fall into that category, I had them both at a "Weird Food Party" a friend threw. Pickled grapes. They were amazing. And the really strange one was putting a salted plum into a half a lemon, and then sipping the juice from it. One would think it would be very very sour, but it actually was sweet and reminded me of pink lemonade but better.

Looks like this but when you squeeze to get juice it's pinkish:
