My father? How to swindle, lie, cheat, avoid repercussions and hate everyone who doesn't live up to his ideals of normal. I don't think his teachings stuck, but who knows...
If only my dad were Eddie Guerrero, lol.I've learned how to cook things but also helped I did some very basic cooking in junior high to learn things.
Sad to hear... Some of us don't have good dads, sadly.
My real father didn't teach me a whole lot and he was a teacher when I lived with him for 2 and half years. He didn't really help me much in life.
How to give the biggest, best hugs in the world and make someone feel loved - Miss you Dad
Dad wasn't a mechanic, but taught me (and sibs) some basic car stuff that i think everybody should know.
how to change a tire
how to check fluids
how to change oil and filter
My dad taught me that men are only after one thing, and that politicians on any side are liars and cheaters, hahaha. I know he's taught me many basic things and I appreciate that, but I feel like I learned a lot more from him in my older age. He's calmed down a lot from when we were younger and done a lot of reflecting back on his own life. I'm really glad I still have a good relationship with him. I just wish we were closer in proximity!
He's about half an hour from Palm Springs and I'm in Portland, so...about 1000 miles away.Aww, how sweet. How far away does he live from you?
