I think it's important to take our passions into account when selecting a career. These can assist us in selecting a career.
 
Different things come to mind. I look at the pay, the tasks involved, the environment and hopefully it is conducive and the growth career wise
 
I would consider the industry, the pay and benefits and career development opportunities.
