What if a genie came up to you and said to you,

Hey there, i'm a genie, and if you tell me what you want to do with your life and what time period you want to do it in, i'll hook you up.

Pretty much, if you were able to do anything with you wanted with your life in any era, what would you do and in what time period and why?

I'll think I will stick to my own time. I have no clue what the past is truly like so why would I want to go backwards in time to a place that I could only guess as to how its like? As far as going into the future, we would be nothing more then a tourist in a foreign country where we don't speak the language. I doubt we would find much joy in such a life.

I'd go back to the 80s when people still knew what good music was. As for what I'd like to do, I'm not sure, probably be a guitarist in a popular band.
