What is a food you dislike or refuse to eat/try?

Tomatoes and avocados

I dislike eating Desi/traditional sweets such as carrot halwa, kheer, etc. I like to eat doodh dulari though. These are locally produced sweets and desserts produced in my country.

I am actually very open to trying different foods, so there isn't much I won't give a go at least once, even if it's just a single bite.
The only real exception is extreme stuff, if you count bugs or insects as food, then that is where I draw the line!
Regarding food that makes me sick, it really depends on the severity. If I know it will only cause mild discomfort, I usually will have some just to be polite, though I make sure to keep the portion small. However, if I know the reaction will be bad, I have to speak up and apologise. It really comes down to judging the situation at the time.

I refuse to try cottage cheese, peas, asparagus and broccoli. There might be more, but those are the main ones.

I've tried tomatoes, hate them and won't eat 'em.

I recently saw a video on YouTube about dangerous foods and I am pretty sure I would not want to try them. For example, pufferfish is served in Japan as a delicacy. We all know that pufferfish is horribly poisonous. I would never want to eat that, even if it is prepared by a licensed chef. 😀

I don't like Okra soup. I don't really like the texture. The last time I tried it in a restaurant down the street, it was off somehow. Not that the taste was bad but the slimy thing makes it horrible somehow. Everybody has that one food that doesn't click no matter how much they are hungry.
