Freedom for me personally means many things : freedom from my emotional mind, total emancipation from others, not being bossed around by anyone, me being "me, myself and I". Me being true to myself and being accepted for who I truly am with all my flaws and qualities as human being. But currently, although free my self-harming and suicidal thoughts and feelings, not completely free from my bad lifestyle habits so yeah. How about you? What does freedom mean to you in your book?

Freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. Also not being imprisoned or enslaved.

Freedom is an illusion. We are all slaves to the system created by the powers that be with a sole purpose of making us think we're free, but in reality all we do is help to sustain the system that keeps the powers that be in power.

Now, true freedom would be to ditch the modern society and go live somewhere out there all by yourself and for yourself.

That sounds more like a prison to me. Living off the land in the middle of nowhere. You spend all day toiling away just to get your basic human needs met. I'd rather live in modern society. It's much more convenient.

Convenience comes with a cost. And that cost is freedom. You forfeit a large chunk of it for the convenience of living in the modern society.

I feel pretty free. I can do whatever I want / whenever I want.

Really? Why do you go to work, then? Why do you even have a job?
