There has been a debate on the right age for kids to make use of mobile devices. Some believe that kids making use of it when they are less than 15 is wrong while others say that it doesn't matter. What do you have to say about this?

Some see it as a necessity for kids even in elementary grades of school. I am more of the "old school" & not so much in touch with today's 'crop'; so, IMO kids should maybe wait until they graduate from high school. If they drop out of school, then they can earn enough to buy their own.
But, I realize that my views on that are extremely unrealistic.
