I used to love reading when I was younger. But since everything can be pretty much accessed through the internet, I've lost interest. And that's why when people ask me about my hobby, I get confused. I love listening to music but that's not really a hobby, is it?

Writing.

Since elementary school, however, it was very cringe-worthy back then. Still have some writing from my school days and it sucks. It's been decades.

I love telling stories even if only I read them.

Yes. If I buckle down and set my mind to publishing some of my works.

Whenever I'm not busy I commit time to writing.

My two main hobbies are photography and collecting model horses. Sometimes I combine the two and photograph my model horses. I mainly do nature photography and I dabble in night photography. I also enjoy cooking and baking.

How long have you had a hobby? 10+ years, but for more than just behavior correction, I've only just gotten into training more seriously over the past couple of years

Why did you start your hobby?

1) provides mental stimulation and structure for my dogs, one of them is a high energy breed so it was much needed to help them with focus
2) to develop a better bond with them
3) to develop the self discipline needed to take on their training, instead of hiring someone
4) potentially interested in entering competitions like for agility

I've become this way and it's bummed me out. I used to write, read, video game, paint, crochet...I miss all of that. But when I come home from work, my mind is so drained that I find it difficult to muster the motivation to do anything but endlessly scroll the internet. Once in a blue moon I'll pick up an old hobby. It's just been quite a while.

Videogames but i'm kinda picky with what i play so happens often i don't know what to play . i like play games since i was a kind and used to play a lot more .

Fiction writing is the main one now. I have been taking shots at it on and off since high school but it has taken off in recent years. Not making money at it save the odd win in writing contests. It is more something I enjoy doing than something I see as a career. That said, I may ramp up and do it more seriously after retirement.

And also used to collect them ..... but somone gave all away it was so many that i did had everything print on a paper and have by year and alphabetical order and if it was action or conedy etc ... to be able to find them on the books selve .. anyways not sure now maybe cooking and taking photos but its not the same as how i was feeling before ...

Also, years ago I had collected probably 500 or so movies that I really, really liked on VHS. Not as neatly categorized as yours; but still, I liked every one & would often repeat watching some.
In a downsize, tired of living in a warehouse frame of mind, I gave all of these away.

A now-deceased buddy of mine from my school days had a massive book collection. Forget how far he got in cataloguing it, but basically if there was a fantasy paperback (or in some cases hardback) from the fifties through the eighties that I wanted, I checked with him before even the library. I have never been much of a book collector myself, just focussing on collecting specific authors I am interested in. For instance I have fairly complete collections of Victorian horror-fantasy writer William Hope Hodgson and pulp fantasy writer and poet Clark Ashton Smith.
