My dad showed me 'I Spit On Your Grave' when I was very young, it wasn't even out yet, but he sat my brother and I down and we watched it.

It was the first time I actually witnessed a real depiction of r....ape.

I saw that movie and hated it. I can't sit through any movie that shows scenes like that. But I can tolerate it when it is depicted off screen in the movie or tv show. There are several women that I know of that will refuse to sit through movies that have rape scenes in them.
