Well, here's the circumstance I'm referring to: Who's to say you won't develop feelings for that person during/after the date? I'm not even sure if I'm making sense here, it's something I just realized actually. I don't think a first date is anything particularly serious, maybe more of like a fun thing, unless it grows from there and becomes a more recurring thing.
