being a useful person on a losing team, or a useless person on a winning team? (Please explain your choice)

Being useful on a losing team, because freeloading to success is not success at all. Working hard and failing is still working hard and doing things properly.

I think I’d have to pick useful person on losing team. Eventually your work will be noticed and a winning team will want you. If you're the useless person on a good team, it will be painfully obvious.

History doesn't count you being useless in a winning team. The end result is what matters always.

4 years ago in the World Cup, Olivier Giroud didn't have a single shot on target as France 🇫🇷 striker but they ended up winning the World Cup. No one remembers he didn't have a shot on target but that he's a world cup winner.

So, I rather be useless in a winning team!!

I would prefer a useful individual and a member of a losing team. It is because I can still impart what I know and my abilities. Even if we lost the match, we were able to work as a team.
