What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned in life?

Only one? That your family, your own flesh and blood are / will be the first to stab you in the back when it suits them and leave you to bleed out.

People will fake a front to use you until you are of no use to them; then they fade into the darkness to be forgotten.

Friends and family will betray/back stab you
Family will become greedy when a loved one passes away. There'll be fights over money, who gets what, etc
Don't become friends with your coworkers or managers at work. Don't trust them either, honestly..

I know you said one, but there's so many...
