I appreciate any gift and i don't count the gift depends with the price .....but sometimes i wonder what some people were think when choosing one

For years, someone bought me the exact same album by the exact same girl band, even though they got me the same thing the year before

I ended up with.. what, 6/7 copies of the album?

They were all chucked in the corner, and now they are all thrown out.

I also got a box one year- an empty box with the excuse oh, santa must have forgotten to put what ever it was inside it

I also hate it when I get socks, since I try to avoid them.. they are like gloves for the feet.

@emily seems that person didn't even care what bying or probably got some that had to get rid off how can you give the same present ... ok if a bottle of wine or chocolate then yes

@Nebulous shoes are not an easy present to give sometimes even the correct size doesn't fit properly depand on the shoe's


I hate body and bath stuff or hair products i think this gifts are for people that know you well
One day a lady had visit (i will skip the details) and she asked also lots for my hair what i use and all this and how nice my hair is ... and i said I'm very fussy about my hair products and i careful what i use and my hair been burned more than once because of that i will not use anything ... and guess what on a Christmas she got me hair product and on top of that she asked me if i used it and what i think
i could not say are good because i was worry she will buy this again and will not been nice to let her spend when propably will end in the bin ...
So i end up been a little rude and said i did used it but didnt work for my hair
When i don't know someone i just get some wine i find this best to give ... even if the person does not drink can always give to somone else or used for visitors

Even if you do the Christmas, religious decoration are a little over the top ...
drink and food and fruit baskets are what i will most give work perfect
I avoid decor or personal stuff .. except if i already know the person well and know exactly what like or something that wanted to buy but can not afford it and i end up get that

If he's from South Korea, I wouldn't be surprised. Arranged Marriage still exists in a lot of Asian countries where families make their children marry who they want them to.

This was years ago, but I remember my Grandma, who my family has pretty much cut contact with since (unrelated), decided to gift me a Christmas ornament. I hate to sound ungrateful, but like, wtf am I supposed to do with this? It was a pretty cool ornament though.

Years ago my mom gave me an electric can opener and I thought it quit strange and left it in it's box.. Last August I hurt my thumb and that can opener was desperately needed
