Legally at 18, but it really depends from person to person. At what age does a child become an adult?
Older kids.Automatically at age 18? Or do you still consider people in their late teens / early 20s as children?
And yeah, exactly. You have ZERO choice as a child on anything. You legally cant consent on anything until you're legally of age.
You become an adult and that is your new "job". You get to decide what to do in life and where you go.
I still don’t feel like an adult. LolI'm not sure that any of us ever grow up mentally.
Dr. Seuss is not just for kids! That was quoted by our principal at the graduation at my school. Still so true and love this by Dr Seuss.

I'm living with my parents at the age of 32 and the only bills I pay are phone and car insurance. I'm still a little kid, apparently.
I think one is truly an adult when they are independent, supporting oneself and self sufficient. Yes, 18 or 21 is legal adult hood. And parents could technically cut off their adult child at that point legally. But, I knew my oldest son was truly an adult when all of his bills were HIS and in his name alone. And he fed and clothed himself , had his own place and got himself to work. That is adulthood. Or, if you get married you but you and your spouse are paying your own bills together, without mom and dad, then you are an adult.
