When you're asked to bring a dish to a party or get together, what do you bring?

Depends on the occasion but lately I've been doing chili mac or bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers for the parties I've been to recently. I've worked as a chef previously for a chinese restaurant but I feel like something I can just throw into the oven to heat up quickly when we get there works best, otherwise I'd make some crab rangoons/wontons or some sort of orange/sesame chicken. :P

My good ol' Lasagna. I gotta be in the mood to do it though.. otherwise i might just buy something from the market.

I might bring a fresh steamed cake from the typical stove. It is easier to prepare and bake without the use of an oven. I can make two if being asked or invited to a party.

I can't go wrong with my good old fried coconut rice. It is one food I know everyone would enjoy and I will prepare mine with shrimps

I would bring Japanese sushi because my friends and I just love them.
