When did you realize your best friend was no longer your best friend?

Never. My best friend of 9 years is still my best friend, we don't talk as much anymore, sometimes only a few times a week but we're always there and still capable of talking about things we wouldn't even mention to anyone else.

When my girl friend of 8 years ago cheated on me with my best friend who I had known since the 3rd grade. Talk about a royal fuck over and I mean literally. I'd always known that he threw people under the bus when there was something he wanted, but I never knew he'd kick me to the curb. Not only was I cheated on, my best friend went around spreading bad rumors and gossip about me, thats how I knew we were done. I said fuck him and I moved on with my life. We didn't talk for 4 years after that, still not talking. But he came to me wanting to fix things. That's when I had the opportunity to tell him that it was over. I still say fuck him, and I'm still moving on. I don't think you can do that to someone and expect them to welcome you back with open arms. Some bridges are left burned.

When a best friends fucks your girl, especially if it's long term, then there's just no coming back from that. Sorry to hear about that situation D:

I got sick and left work early. My boyfriend and best friend were having sex in MY bed. Caught them in the act as they were "too busy" to hear me come home. Just walked in on them and told both of them they had 5 minutes to get dressed and get the F out of my house. Never saw two people move as fast as they did. Needless to say, never had any contact with either one after that. They were both very lucky that I held my temper and wasn't a 'gun happy cop'. I had and still have guns in my house.

I don't know what I would have done if I had walked in on that happening. I can tell that would have pushed me right over the edge though and some one probably would have gotten their ass kicked.

It's a long story, partly my fault and partly his. I have known him for 12 years. When we got into our "final" fight it was a pretty much go to hell from him.
It hurt the kid was a brother to me. I guess such is life though. I have learned my lesson about best friends though, doubt I will ever have another one.
