It's been over 10 years for me. Not that I have (or had) a drinking issue, just never been interested in alcohol for a number of reasons including how it tastes, how it makes me feel, the calories, the cost, etc.

Aside from a few small sips to see what they taste like, what all the fuss is about, I never drank any alcoholic beverage and never will. I've seen first hand the devastating effects of alcohol, what it does, how it affects the human behavior, so I'd rather drop dead than drink so much as a sip ever again.
