When was the last time you remember visiting any arcade?

I'm aware that they are not around anymore and hard to get to one that still going to this day. But we all had been there and done that. Sorry young people who haven't as you are too young to even know ;P

We luckily do have them around here in Australia but there’s very few and the hype isn’t huge anymore

This is an interesting question. I've never actually been to a true arcade. There aren't any located in my area. I'll have to look into this more.

Been a good 5 years I say, they are still in my town, but getting smaller and less loved.

I don't know where the nearest arcade is anymore! I guess it's been at least 15 years when my daughter was in Girl Scouts and we went to a mini-golf place that had an indoor arcade. It was too expensive to spend any good amount of time there though.

Not since I was about 16 or so, there used to be one at the mall near where I lived at the time...that's long gone, so is the mall, actually, but I moved from there a good time ago. Shame arcades have gone by the wayside, they're fantastic.

It’s actually so sad that all the arcades are gone or going now

It’s the same as all the phone boxes have now been replaced by mobile.

Agreed, arcades were such fun! Great social experiences where you could have fun with other people enjoying a shared passion. Granted, some where there to make trouble and try and steal coins, but most were there for the games, and that was great! I loved that!

I went in my local one a couple of years back and turns out a few of them still exist, All though they’re slowly going missing.
