I am a huge animal lover myself but there are some animals and creatures that I really could never keep as a pet due to me having a fear of them or just not liking them due to a detail they may have.

I have been known to keep mice, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, budgies, cockatiels and also cats and dogs but when it comes to some, the ones I know for a fact I would never be able to keep and have as a pet are the following

Snakes
Rats
Tarantulas

These are a no-go for me.

What animal or creature could you never keep as a pet?

Tarantulas

I never get mine out to pet them. They're not that kind of animal. You treat them like you would a gold fish, you just sit and watch them. I have 4 tarantulas and we feed them every week of the summer. They start sleeping more in the fall and winter seasons because that's when they plug up their burrows and hibernate.

small monkeys get a no from me. they are sooo needy & clingy, conniving, expensive, and messy... honestly probably just way too smart for their own good though.

Spiders... I do not need a pet spider lol.

There are many, some because i will be scared and others just too much to look after ....
I guess Snakes one that no thank you

I can't imagine keeping a snake at home. My neighbor has it and it's too scary. The cats will take care of the rats so it's not for me too.

Cats. Had one once and although I loved him I can't stand the way they walk all over every single thing in the house - especially food prep areas, and in beds nooooo

Birds, as much as I love them, as I have a lung disease.
Iguanas because they can be temperamental.
Snakes? Yes please!

I could never have a Ferret. Very high-maintenance animals that can die if you feed them even SLIGHTLY too much. I couldn't trust myself.

I can’t do rats or mice. They scare me whenever they are in the ceiling.
