I tried this tonite with rotisserie chicken; had all of the ingredients on hand so just winged it with the measurements.
Pretty danged good, y'all.
Alabama White BBQ Sauce
=================
1. Mayonnaise: A creamy base for the sauce.
2. Apple cider vinegar: Adds a fruity acidity that balances the richness of the mayonnaise.
3. Water: Thins the sauce slightly for a pourable consistency. (I did not add water, the vinegar & W-sauce were enough liquid)
4. Worcestershire sauce: Adds an umami-rich flavor to the sauce.
5. Kosher salt: Enhances the overall flavor.
6. Garlic and onion powder: Adds a savory depth.
7. Black pepper: For a hint of peppery heat.
8. Hot sauce: Adds a mild heat to the sauce that can be increased as you see fit.
====
Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, water, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and hot sauce in a small bowl.
Stir together until smooth.
Serve immediately or chilled. Refrigerate up to 3 days.
