White Lies

White lies are benign or trivial lies.

One example of a white lie would be when a person falsely affirms that they consider their friend beautiful or intelligent so as to reinforce their friend's self-esteem.



What's the last white lie you told and who do you tell it to?

I don't usually do that. I'm just honest & straight forward with my friends & strangers. I don't like anything, I just tell them. If it bothers them, they'd back come in a while

. But it usually doesn't, & instead they come to me for honest answers like how they're looking before going to a party

I detest liars and would NEVER lie to my friends or family.



Now with that said, I did tell a white lie last night.



My supervisor got her hair cut. It looked gawd awful. Looked like someone put a bowl on her head and cut around the bowl. When she asked me how I liked her new look, I told her it was very nice. I'm up for a raise and there was no way I was going to jeopardize that by telling her what I really thought!

The last white lie i told was probably something that made my story sound a little more exciting than it really was.
