What languages do you know? Which ones do you prefer? Which ones are challenging? Where did you learn computer programming? Are you good at it? Have you attempted to make money with it?

Myself, I learned VB, C ++, C # and made decent grades. I don't know, maybe one was a C, lol. Nonetheless, I've pretty much forgotten all of it, since I took the courses during the W. Bush era.

I used to be good but lost it over the years. CSS and HTML with basic Javascript are what I or have needed.

I know, HTML, CSS, C++ and currently learning Java in Uni.

I dabbled in HTML & actually enjoyed doing it. However, there weren't any classes near me when I got stuck. Does anybody know of some good coding sites that would be beneficial for beginners that would also have good support for when I had questions?

How do you all feel about self-learning? Do you think a course is better or the same? Myself, I bought a bunch of books on this stuff back in the 2000s. It was those "Learn in 24 Hours" things. Anyway, though, it's better I think to get feedback from a website and/or college course.

Learning yourself might be able and can help you. But trying to get more understandable and extra help would be good if you had another person around you as you can ask for HELP.

I learn things myself and many times I got stuck and I can't move on. YouTube can help you also :P

Lost a bit of knowledge of a few different programming languages since I haven't coded as much. But I have knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Java, C++, and Python.

with forums software it's all done for you :P just needs basic understanding you know :P

Next time the community college offers a beginner class again, I'm going to sign up.

There are so many free ways to go about it, people learn to do things from watching YouTube

I'd rather learn coding in a classroom environment where I can ask questions if I have any.

Hard to get a class anymore, they are all based online nowadays

Will have to wait and see if the classes will be held in March like the college booklet stated.
